Area Manager (Beaumont, TX). Responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts in the Chemical plant industry (CPI) area, water and process treatment for assigned area.

Build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. Convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies. Identify external target business opportunities across districts and business groups to generate new business growth.

Engage with Sales Representatives to achieve area sales and growth targets, ensure customer satisfaction using our six service standards and our Create and Maintain Value ("CMV") model to identify sales targets, and leads the sales process within assigned area.

Engage with cross-functional teams to develop business, technology, and leadership strategies, analyze reports and research to develop programs that support enterprise growth. Influence and/or respond to Requests for Proposals ("RFPs") and specifications.

Develop and manage incentives and training programs to support and motivate field teams.

Manage a team of direct reports. Communicate with other functions and groups, including Supply Chain, Research/Development and Engineering, and Marketing. Participate in Health Checks (audits) of accounts across assigned region. Manage the improvement of existing monitoring/communication tools ("PSR's"), review PSR's and Service Plans with customers to evaluate effectiveness, and alignment with their expectations. Accountable for internal SHE deliverables and reporting metrics.

Requirements:

Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience as a District Manager or closely related occupation developing and executing global short term, annual, and multi-year sales or marketing strategies to achieve sales and profit targets in the chemical plant industry.

Or, alternatively, Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience as a District Manager or closely related occupation developing and executing global short term, annual, and multi-year sales or marketing strategies to achieve sales and profit targets in the chemical plant industry.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") conducting market research and analysis to perform market segmentation using advanced analytical techniques for making decision related to segment priorities and positioning corporate solutions. DE collecting Voice of Customer and Voice of Business for customer satisfaction by developing and using survey methods (interviews, qualitative surveys, quantitative surveys) to explore innovation opportunities and pricing models, size the marketing and validate innovation concepts. DE working with RD&E, sales, and regional marketing teams to develop new business leads and business opportunities. DE managing a sales team within the chemical plant industry. DE facilitating and executing the technical development within an assigned area of a chemical plant, and assist with solving technical problems.
